Growing up in Washington D.C., Ben Kenobe was surrounded by a vibrant and diverse musicscene. Influenced by the sounds of his hometown, he began writing and recording music under the moniker Ben Kenobe. But it wasn’t just music that captivated Kenobe, he was also drawn to the power of storytelling through film. Combining his passion for both mediums, Kenobe has become a multi-hyphenate artist, crafting stories that are not only relevant but also timeless.

Kenobe’s music career took off when he teamed up with G.O.O.D Music artist, Tony Williams. Together, they created a sound that blended the gritty streets of D.C. with a touch of mainstream appeal. But Kenobe didn’t stop there, he also made a name for himself in the film industry. He served as lyricist for the critically acclaimed film, THE CYPHER, executive produced by Ben Corey Jones. The film made its world premiere at the 2020 Tribeca Film Fest and was later acquired by HBO.

His latest release, New Hope, is a tribute to the city that raised him and showcases his lyrical prowess. The album is a reflection of his journey and the struggles he’s faced, but also celebration of the resilience of the human spirit. Kenobe’s music and film projects have earned him numerous awards, solidifying his place as a leading creative force in the industry. He continues to push boundaries and inspire others with his work.
